More rain ahead

A few days ago, AEMET - the Spanish met office - announced that the weather pattern developing was similar to that before a gota fría. They've now firmed up on what they though and have issued a weather warning.
As things stand at the moment, it looks like rain from today to Wednesday, with a possibility of some heavy rain in places Monday, and up to 6 cm of rain on Tuesday.
The sequence of satellite imagery, and the synoptic chart, certainly look messy, so anything could happen.
