Hi all,

Currently looking to buy in Daya Vieja (to likely stay couple of months of the year, put up for rental the rest).

Love the whole area from Santa Polo to Cartagena, and as far inland as Fortuna and Las Casicas.

Ian

Hi Ian

We are nearer to Daya Vieja than Daya Nueva. Lovely little village. Good luck with your purchase.

Thanks Phyllis.

Wanted somewhere quiet but near Guardamar. So likely the east side of village - looking at the white & blue quads.....so hopeful.

Somewhere for us & kids....and eventually just us :)

Really like the village, amenities and the restaurants. Just not sure if any buses?

There is a bus stop towards daya nueva but never see any passing as yet but no doubt there is a few services at peak holiday time towards la marina beaches etc.

Keep in touch and can meet up for a coffee when you get here.

Take care x

Be advised, although you may already know, that in order to let your property, you will require a tourist licence now, the Spanish authorities are tightening up hugely. It will have to comply with current standards and the fines for not having a licence are swingeing. So before you commit to a purchase, just check out the requirements.

Hi Ian,

We bought one of the Blue Quads to the East of the village about 2-years ago and we love it. Best decision my wife & I ever made. Raquel's is our local, very handy, friendly atmosphere and very reasonably priced fast food & drink. Only problem with the village is there is no public transport however we have a car so it's not a problem for us. Good luck with your search.

Maureen
