Can anyone tell me if a UK blue badge is accepted on the Costa Blanca?

Some municipalities accept them and some don't. They are not automatically accepted in Spain but you need to ask either at your local ayuntamiento or the police station if they will accept them or not in the area you want to go to.
Annoying as some EU countries do accept them but not Spain as a general rule.
