Hola folks,

While the purchasing process is ongoing I'm trying to do as much research as possible. I've been looking at Google maps and trying to work out if Parque Tajo is within walking distance of the beach, La Marina village or San Fulgencio village. We're two quite fit mid fifties guys (gym days are behind us but we try to stay fit).  We'd be happy to walk quite briskly for around an hour - would any of these places be within an hour's walk???? It's so difficult to judge from the map.  Thanks for your help.

Hi..if you are fit and keen walkers I would say the walk to La Marina village and the beach is achievable but would think the walk to San Fulgencio ( just my opinion though ) would take longer. Remember the weather may slow you down and coming back from La Marina Village & beach isn't flat 😊. Enjoy your stroll!

Thanks, Yorkshire Lass. It's good to know it might feasible to walk to the beach and village, probably not going to be there in the height of summer, although I believe there's a bus runs then. The seller is leaving a bike, we'll maybe buy another one to increase our mobility.

Yes there is a beach bus in the summer, I've not used it though as I'm lazy and go in the car 😂. I hope you will both be very happy in Parque Tajo.

Hi Ian, I love dogs and I love walking - match made in heaven! Would definitely be up for it. Can't speak for Les but I reckon he'd like it too. Will let you know when I'm over and available for dog walking duties. Meanwhile, enjoy walking those dogs in the sun!

You may or may not be interested but there is a very active walking group in the local area with very many standards of walks available, for the easy walks look at https://wednesday1walks.blogspot.com.es or marinawalker.info
