Hi,

Myself and my hubby are excited to be coming to Villamartin at the end of April with a view to purchasing a 2 bedroom property, possibly quad style, end terraced villa or maybe an apartment (two storey building, not apartment block).   We love the area and have rented a couple of times nearby.  We would really like to get some info on the different urbanisations in Villamartin, what are good and not so good areas.    We do like a good degree of privacy but don't want to be isolated either.  Would really appreciate any tips from the forum...Many Thanks, Debs x

Hi Debs,

Loads of nice areas around Villamartin. We have a place in the Valencia Urb which we love. It's really handy for everything and has a great mix of full time and visiting owners. Good luck with the house hunt.

Iain.

Hi Debs,

I am not sure what your reasons are for ruling out a 3 storey apartment block, but we purchased one on the Las Violetas urbanisation very close to the plaza. We are on the top floor, but we have a lift which also goes to the basement where we have an allocated parking space and store. The "extra" floor for us is an advantage as our solarium offers really nice views. The urbanisation is beautifully landscaped and maintained, while the block only has 10 properties.

We never thought we would end up buying an apartment, being used to semi's and detached properties in the UK, but actually it suits us better as a winter home.

I hope you find what you are looking for.

We have recently purchased in Villamartin and absolutely love it - there is a 2 bed apartment just come on the market in our small community - Valencia Norte - just a 3 min walk to Villamartin Plaza - check out insun properties - run by Gabi and Elfi - sisters. Great estate agents.
