WARNING - THIEVES AND PICK POCKET'S ABOUT

Thos morning whilst out for a walk around Villamartin Plaza a young woman stopped me and asked directions to the Farmica. In the middle of directing her she threw her arms around me offering me her phone number.... in a flash she had stolen my necklace, a family heirloom from my mother, and she was gone..... she jumped into a car that had two male occupants and they were away before I could do anything......

There is also a guy getting around with a clipboard collecting what appears to signatures for a petition and asking for donations.... when people take out their wallets or purses he snatches them and takes off......

I advise everyone to protect their valuables, put wallets in your front pockets and be careful of any jewellery your are wearing, and be aware that this being the holiday season pick pockets and thieves are about looking for easy targets.

Sorry for your lost heirloom. Some people may have let their guard down after the recent arrest of a muggerhugger, so thanks for the reminder there are a lot of them about,

There has been a number of cases of pick pockets, etc in the area recently, including mine.

I spent a lot of time in Thailand over the last three decades and there are numerous pick pockets there. I finally had to treat everyone as a potential pick pocket, I did not like doing it but it worked.

I think I will do the same here now. Keep your distance.
