Meeting people

Hi ,

There is a very friendly group at Reflections in San Luis outside Torrevieja. The lady who runs all the entertainment is call ed Norma. Like you , I am a lady over 60 who has just arrived and was welcomed to their “group” with open arms. 

Tuesday afternoon from 1pm is a very good place to start. Lunch , quiz, short bingo game and lots of chat. Only 3.50 euros

I won’t be there tomorrow but will the following week.

HI Marion - I have a holiday home in Toretta Florida (beside the Haberneras) and have been trying to amass some new friends to meet regularly for a coffee/sangria and a blether - I return to Spain late April for a week and again in May if you fancy meeting up in Torrevieja ?

The Phoenix Solos club is for single people and meets on Monday mornings from 11.00am at The Marina Club, International Marina Puerto Deportivo, 03180 Torrevieja. There are over 140 members, some resident and others visit us when they come to Spain.

Regular events, Club meeting, Cinema, Badminton, Petanca, Games Night, 10 Pin Bowling and Sunday Lunch. For directions click link below

Hi all I am hoping to move to La Mata next year. I was wondering if there are any ladies darts clubs in the area. I am a young at heart 60ish year old lady who likes darts, meeting up with others and walking. I would love to meet up with new people to make friendships when I come over. Dor. 

Hi Dor,  I go to a over 50's solo club in Torrevieja at the Marina. One of the activities is darts.....The club is called The Phoenix solos and they meet every Monday morning from 11am and organise various events.
