Not sure if you're planning to rent or buy? We moved out here last October. We're renting in Villamartin at the moment which isn't far from La Zenia. We plan to buy a property by the end of this year once we establish the exact area we prefer. If you're plan is also to rent initially the I would recommend speaking to Kay at 'Propertyrentals.com' ! She's English,extremely helpful and very informative. This agent is on the 'La Fuente'commercial  center Campoamor.

Home Espana were terrific when they assisted me in my purchase speak to Bex at La Zenia

I used Vincent Real Estates to buy in Playa Flamenca. A week is not long enough to buy as it is very time consuming. Research internet beforehand Zoopla, Kyero , Rightmove Spain, A Place in the Sun website. All these advertise for a lot of agents and you will find sometimes the same properties advertised by these agencies at different prices. Some will be sold already as they sometimes keep sold properties on to attract so this can be very time consuming. List those you would like to see and tell the agent. Don't let them tell you as they sometimes want to offload properties on their books for some time. Make appointments before you go so that you are organized and keep up to date with your list of properties as I was continually adding and deleting as they sold and came on to the market. The more focussed you are and firm with agents the better properties you are likely to be shown. Be specific about what you are looking for. Good luck and reconsider the time you have allocated yourself to go over as you will be disappointed or chose something you may regret later being too hasty.

When you visit properties with agents tell them to pick you up at your residence where you are staying as many of them will try to get you to go to their offices to be picked up.  I made sure every one of them picked me up and dropped me off at my convenience.

Hi, we bought in la zenia last June, stayed one week to view and I was determined not to travel back without a property.

Armed with about 15 sourced from the Internet we quickly realised some agents were hard selling and not offering what I wanted, I was then collected by an agent from inmoinvestments in lazenia, wow, what a calm relaxed and very informative agent he was, no pressure and lots of patience, gave us true and personal advice.

We eventually purchased an amazing place in la zenia ( 5 min walking to beach shopping centre and bars), the agent helped us to beat the price down a further 10,000€.

Inmoinvestments are so friendly, we still pop in for a chat or to print off our boarding cards 😉.

Good choice of area in my opinion, the agents choice is obviously yours, but I would definitely check inmoinvestments out.
