Maybe I'm not getting the full picture here but what if anything would this change?

It doesn't change the length of stay regulations, just allegedly speeds up the flow at the airport? When ETIAS comes in this will be irrelevant surely as at that point all passports will go through digital gates?

Since Brexit I've been back and forward many times and unlike entering some UK airports, Alicante Border Control is very fast. I'm unsure how "fast gates" at Portuguese airports is going to sway a holiday decision?

Is this more trolling from the xenophobic Mail? They run at least one story daily criticising a European country!
