Being new to the Albatera area I'm looking for advice/information about places where  I can safely walk my 5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer off lead without having to worry about traffic. He's a very energetic dog who needs a good run for at least 45 minutes each day and so far I'm struggling to find suitable walks.

I'd also be interested in any dog walking groups or walking groups in the area who meet up regularly.

We are based just outside Albatera not far from the tennis club.

Thanks 😊

Hi Fred

are you on Facebook? I have a lot of dog owning Freind's on there who live in Albatera and walk their dogs happily up the mountain :-)

Hi Shar

Thanks for the message and my apologies for my tardiness in replying.

I'm not currently on FB having deactivated my account due to Brexit frustrations (a long story) however my wife is. So if you can point me in the right direction and your friends are happy for me to contact them that would be great. I'll also send you a private message with my email address which I'd be happy for you to pass on.

Thanks again

Simon

Hi Simon

No problem at all, if your wife can send me a friend request I can point you in the direction of local sites in there where you get lots of good advice

best wishes Sharon
