Windoze 7 end of support today.
Didn't think it would take long for the scaremongering to start.
"UK authorities have warned Windows 7 users not to do internet banking or send emails after Tuesday"
FWIW I run 3 Windoze 7 machines none of which have seen any updates whatsoever pretty much since Windows 10 first hit the street in 2015.
Have any been hacked - no
Have my bank A/C's been raided and drained - no
Have I been 'ransomwared' - no
While MS might be abandoning the estimated 25-33% of users who are resoloutely sticking with Windoze 7 and want nothing to do with 10 the Anti Virus companies haven't so if you keep that up to date and follow the normal safe practices of not opening unsolicited email attachments or installing moody/pirate software etc. then you need have nothing new to fear.
Quite honestly though for those who have yet to develop those very basic survival skills a switch to 10 (I refuse to call it an upgrade) is unlikely to save you anyway!
