Well we bit the bullet and bought a static in San Fulgencio this year without viewing; finally got to see it in October and we were over the moon with our purchase. We’re back in cold Blighty now and can’t wait to get back out.

So; here’s the thing; what crazy Covid rules/regs have we got in the Alicante region? try to compare with the Welsh announcement yesterday, Pubs & Restaurants can open till 6pm but they cannot serve alcohol, I’m still shaking my head with that one. What is the point in a pub opening the afternoon but can’t sell ale........

Bars and restaurants are open with reduced capacity to allow for distancing.

Mask wearing in public spaces is mandatory. You can take your mask off when seated at your bar/ restaurant table.

Curfew midnight to 0.600

Spain has not needed a second lockdown (so far) because the first was long and strict and everyone obeyed it.

Enjoy your stay.

Personally I don't consider the rules being applied in Spain as "Daft". The strict rules were enforced and the population were compliant. Hopefully we can beat this terrible virus sooner rather than it dragging on for much longer.

Well there was a bit of good news today ,they are to start vaccination next week in UK ,so hopefully when Brits return to Spain next year they will have been vaccinated and no risk of spreading virus .At moment  I'm lamenting the restrictions in Scotland as no pubs open in my area Scotch Eggs or not ,another completely daft decision

Yes I heard the vaccine had been approved this morning in the UK. We’re all entitled to our opinion and I’m a bit sceptical however I do believe it’s a major beacon of light at the end of what has been a very miserable tunnel. Fingers crossed it’s rolled out safely & quickly.

Maybe someone  can explain that people can share a bed and a home and a shower if they wish ,but couldn't share a car ,that was in my opinion  a daft rule ,so just because a government brings in a rule that people are compliant with doesn't mean it isn't a daft rule

Yes John everyone to their own opinion.

Annie....The OP has had several opportunities to re-state Daft or Draft so I'll go by the initial heading.
