Moving to albatera

Hi we will be moving to albatera in a few months and was hoping to find some british people who live in the area, any help and advise on life there would be gratefully accepted.
Can't really help you in the town itself but the nearby El Paraiso mobile home park is nearly all Brit plus there is an English cafe behind the Mercadona supermarket where Brits tend to congregate.
Very likely to be moving to the area ourselves in 2-3 months time..
Thanks for the reply, I'm really looking forward to moving there,we had an offer accepted last week so just waiting for our house to sell in the U.K. , then we'll be off. it would be nice to hear from someone who lives there and thanks for the info,also I hope it works well for you.

Hi we are also moving to Albatera this year, we are having are 1st trip out to the villa this month and moving out full time in November and will be looking to make friends

Hi, hope everything goes well for you, we put an offer on a house in albatera,and by the time our solicitor got on the case,someone put a deposit on the house and we lost out. So we have now bought,and deposit down on a house in Elche, we will be moving in in June. All systems go at the moment but very exciting times ahead for us both.
