Hi,
It's pretty easy but depends on whether you are resident or non resident. If you are Non Resident you can go into your local health centre with your EHIC (European Health Insurance card) and see a doctor while you are in Spain. If you are Resident then the health centre or Town Hall will issue you with a card/paperwork or whatever you need to register with a doctor. Just ask in the health centre first.
Here's your local one:
Centro de Salud de AlbateraThank you Jan we are moving next year so just finding out things first to get set up.

You're welcome! Also..some Town Halls and Medical Centres will speak English but some don't always. As with anywhere you need something in particular, unless you speak Spanish or Spanglish ;) it's often a good idea to get a Google translation printed of what you want to ask. It may not be a good translation but it will hopefully help you get the message across after asking 'habla usted Ingles' and getting No for an answer LOL That's what we do anyway!

Ha ha thank you are you also in Albetera?
No, we have had a holiday home in a different area (Ciudad Quesada) for 12 years but many of the issues /problems we come up against are similar.
Good luck with your move!
Jan
