Help with resedencia

Has anyone got suggestions for me. We moved to Spain last year after being qeongly informed by the solicitor dealing with our house buying that I could reinstate my old residency I had in mallorca 8 years ago. We were due to go to UK last month but sadly my husband has has a severe stroke 8 weeks ago and will be in rehabilitation for many months. There must be a way to do it over here in extraordinary circumstances. I cannot leave at all. Any help or advice would be grateful 🙏
