Hello

Has anyone come across builders rates on iberdrola. We are being charged 25cents a kilowatt plus tax. Rather high we think. I thought that you could not make a profit on electricity as I know youcant in England.  The land owner says it's due to builders rates until the village is finished but can't find any information on this

You could contact Iberdrola directly and ask -  they have phone operators in several different languages - all numbers on their website.

Unfortunately for you, if you're still on the builder's supply, then there's no restriction on what you can be charged.

I wouldn't worry about it Mary. Our bills this year have ranged from 24 to 38 days.

I suggest you register for online access, so you can easily check for yourself.
