Hi, We are trying to Fly our Small Dog out to Alicante from the North West of England. We have done this before using Blue Air, but they don't do this anymore. It seems that our only option will be to use Private Couriers which will cost over £1000. I am sure that there are Airlines like Blue Air that will allow us to Accompany our Dog on a Flight to Alicante ?  But I cant find any. Any Recommendations/Advice would be appreciated.  Regards.....  Chris

Monarch used to, but they went under, unfortunately. It may be worth contacting one of the specialist animal transporters as several of them can organise flights for animals, and presumably may have deals with the cargo branch of the airlines.

!000 does seem an awful lot, we looked into flying our two cats over and for the two of them it wasn’t anywhere near that this was through an animal specialist.

Hi there we run scheduled pet transport runs between the UK and Spain, one run per month via the eurotunnel. It will be considerably safer and a lot cheaper.  Check out our website on www.a2bpetmovers.com and please do not hesitate send us a message via our contact us form online, or via our direct email [email protected].  Kind regards Helen Grice, Director, A2B Pet Movers Ltd.

I think it was animalcouriers.com. They have a website and are based in Sussex. We actually had our cats driven down by them and delivered to a local cattery until we could take them home. It was v efficient and much less stress and hassle for us, knowing that we didn’t have to worry about them during The Great Disruption!,,

Hope this helps

We used Petair UK back in February to transport 2 cats for us from Gatwick to Alicante. They have different levels of cost, but as we were moving out and needed them to collect them from us we chose their Gold level. They transported them to their cattery, they checked their passports, checked the cats over and sent me a text to let me know all was well. Next morning they were taken to the airport and checked in. They had told me of a cattery who would collect in Alicante, as our new house could not be completed until the 7th of March. All I can say is that they were FANTASTIC! Kept in touch from the moment I booked it.
