I don't know your area, but I had a look in yellow pages for mercerias (haberdashery shops):
Yellow pages aren't always up to date, and they're a subscription service so some shops don't register, but it might give you some ideas where to go.

Ann I’m sure there is a shop in Alfaz. If your coming up from Albir turn left at the junctions just at the doctors (that big pink building should be on the right hand side) and it’s just up that street. If you go on straight towards the main st you have went too far. I still don’t know the street names but hope this helps.
