Hi , we are a married couple 50 and 46 . We will be in Albir in may from the 15th till 25th on holiday. We are thinking of moving to the area and would like to maybe meet up with people who have already relocated to Albir . Like to find out the pro's and cons of moving to Spain. Hi Malc & Hayley. Nice to hear from you. We have a property located between Benidorm and Albir. We don't live in Spain but we are out there a lot. Hey there,

Welcome to the area. I don't live here all the time, but my Mum has done for over 30 years and now we need some help for her. I just posted an ad here which may suit you. Here's the wording...let me know if you may have interest...

Is there a lady out there interested to work as a full-time, live-in Housekeeper/Secretary?

I am looking for someone to act as Carer/Companion/Housekeeper to my lovely 92 year old English mother and do database and secretarial work.

Accommodation at private house in La Nucia, utilities and use of car provided. Live in Spain....at no cost!

We could also consider a live-out person but obviously without the above benefits!

We need someone of the right age who is engaging, organised and positive, whilst compassionate. Someone flexible and willing to help with the smallest tasks upwards and who likes a challenge to learn a new business. Preferably with a care or nursing background (though my mother does not need nursing) and able to use a PC and work with Microsoft Office software to perform common business tasks. We need someone who speaks fluent English and preferably some Spanish.

Salary/terms - negotiable.
