Hi all

Just a post to introduce myself!

I'm Andrew and my lurcher, Bongo, are planning on moving to Costa Blanca soon. We have spent some time there last year walking the mountains and loved it.

Looking at potentially a village around the Aloy / Muro area and hopefully a nice, small country house with a pool.

Although I have lived on the CdS before I would much rather have some space and peace and quiet in or near a National Park. I have never bought a property before in Spain, so please feel free to offer advice or ask some questions.

Kind regards

A&B!

Hey Andrew

I cycled up to Gato De Gorgos to see my uncle and aunt a few weeks ago. It is absolutely beautiful up there. Sadly they are having to sell up and move back to the UK as my uncle is very ill, but what a beautiful place they have. Would love to be up around there for the cycling! Their place overlooks the mountians and has 3500m of land.. I'm buying scratch cards as we speak ;)

Hope it all goes well

what a great spot!

Although I have spent time in Spain before I never fully appreciated it's splendid countryside, I'm afraid I used to spend all my time in bars :|

Now, things are different though, I no longer drink alcohol at all and prefer to spend time hiking with Bongo, and cycling when I have opportunity.

I can't wait until I can live there full-time and explore...!

I hear you on the alcohol front ;) - I have taken a similar route to abstinence and healthy living after years of working in the nightclub industry and effectively destroying my health and body.

Onwards and upwards!

;)
