Good evening just wondering if you can help me. I am from

England, I am wanting to move to Spain and find a job and start a fresh life. Could you please give me any information that I need to continue with this?

I am trying to find a job aswell. I have experience in Coffee shops and retail shops, I currently work in the Mental health industry but I understand that would be a hard field of work to get into in Spain.

Alcúdia is in Majorca, not the Costa Blanca.
As the UK is no longer in the EU then in order to move here you have to be sponsored by an employer who can prove that they are unable to fill the post with an EU citizen and that is not going to happen I'm afraid.

To add to Cheryl's excellent advice.....

Since Brexit UK citizens cannot move to Spain to live permanently without some sort of visa.

The visa you would need (Work Visa) has to be sponsored by an prospective employer who cannot find an EU citizen first.

Other visas are for retirees (NLV) who are not allowed to work with that visa, self employed or the Golden Visa which involves loads of cash.

You may find better opportunities in Portugal or France.

I have looked online and seen it’s not impossible to do but also not as simple, and would of course include getting a visa which costs a lot. Do you know if Portugal is the same ?

Just trying to look for places to live that won’t be too difficult in the process. Thank you both for the advice !
