ALgorfa information. Help please.

Hello,

We are moving to Algorfa in about 8 weeks time from the UK and are looking to Buy an Automatic Car, Nothing big and flash as there is only us 2 and our small dog. Can anyone recommend anywhere please?.

Also I am disabled and currently have a blue badge in the UK, can I still use this or do i have to jump through hoops when we arrive in Spain with the Authorities.

Any information that anyone can give us will be greatly appreciated. We will also be looking to buy new Beds and sofas etc.

Hi. I’ve heard that Costacars in Torrevieja have a good reputation. If you type the above into google you should find their address. Failing that, there are many Main dealers. Grupo Marcos (near me in Torrevieja) are excellent. I owned two Nissan Micras (one for 14 years). One was a manual one an automatic (the latter l miss dearly!!). I said to my wife l will get another Micra one day!! Whatever you do, do not buy a car here in Spain from a private individual as l have know of people here who have and have bitterly regretted doing so. Paul
