Iberdrola or not? What is the best tariff

Hi

My family and I have just spent our first summer holiday in our new holiday home. We have received 2 bills from Iberdrola for electricity.

Can anyone give me any help or advice on what tariff I should be on for a holiday home. I have heard people talk about a night time tariff?

How do I contact Iberdrola from the UK about my property in Montemar 2?

Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Hi Louise we swapped to night time plan and our bills have dropped from €60 Euro to €20 pm(when we aren’t here-about 30 when we are)

You can log on to Iberdrola online(do it on a computer and you can read in English and can change the plan. You will need your account number and your nie number-I was surprised how easy it was. We also dropped our potencia to 3.5 with a lot of research(we can still run cooker, tv, air conditioning, lamp etc at same time without tripping) and that makes a big difference to our bills but it depends on house size

Here is the website you can email them, I have an iPhone so I have the app on my phone to see bills etc I too moved over to night time tariff and it’s much cheaper

You will be best doing it next time you are in spain there are companies that can help you connect In la finca ,they will charge you but it maybe worthwhile.I have noticed that the UK electric tariffs are cheaper than Spanish by some considerable amount.
