Hi,

Has anyone had experience of BBVA Bank?  I from an Internet search they seem to have no bank charges. We did use another Spanish bank for our holiday home direct debits, but the charges became ridiculous.  We have moved to Starling, but a couple of companies we pay dont accept direct debits from non Spanish accounts.  BBVA seem to be an alternative.  Any feedback welcome.  Thanks.

Hi,

Reading your post, as I have considered moving to Starling, which Direct Debits are you having difficulty with?

Thanks in advance for the info, apologies that I cannot help with your original question.

I can't help you re BBVA, but suggest you also look at Cajamar which has been reported as doing free non-resident accounts.

The management company won't use a non Spanish account for our community fees, also our internet provider.  All other fees are OK with Starling.

Attn of Rich P

I am also interested in Cajamar on-line banking. I have just sent an email asking if they can confirm on-line banking is in English. Can you keep me up to date with any information you gather and I will do the same.

Thanks
