Hi, we are not residents but are staying longer than intended, our flight has been cancelled so we may stay 2/3 months.
How do I obtain prescription, we are registered with the doctor in Algorfa and have a temporary SIP card .

You don't need prescriptions. Common medicines are sold over the counter.

If you take your UK-prescribed meds with you (with the label attached) the pharmacy will provide the local equivalent.

If they don't have it in stock, it will (usually) be obtained for you within 2 days.

Common medications are inexpensive.

No I’m in Rep of Ireland.
Schools closed last Thursday March 12.

Most of the country’s pubs closed voluntarily on Saturday 14th March despite the Bank Holiday weekend.   Restaurants etc followed.

The quietest St Patrick’s Day in history.  ☘️

We have been lucky that Irish Government is providing clear communication and is in agreement with best advice from Global experts.
Stay well

Regards

Maria
