I find really funny the number of under the radar brits that voted leave and now moaning about the new rules, bit like turkeys voting for Christmas,

I would have to say i agree with you and i voted for the B word, why these people did not apply for residency i have no idea, its not like it was kept secret what was about to happen.

Personally I have never found any sort of humour in another persons misfortune, but it takes all sorts.

Why I would think off posting such a gloating subject on something that has no bearing on my life is probably more indicative of your personality or not?.

Good on you boys - you keyboard warriors you.

Perhaps it elevates your perception of your own worth and justifies the fact that you still insist on ironing your socks.

I am pointing out the fact that certain expats just want to stay below the radar like most did and then moaning when things change ,I fully expect the property  market to collapse in spain when everybody starts returning and then they will moan again .

Stay lucky .

Jolly good, Paco

and how does the misfortune of others and the collapse of the poperty market  have any affect, directly or indirectly, on your life?

Sorry, but this was kind of funny. Absolutely symphatize with all the people not having been familiar with the implications of Brexit. But if you own your property in a EU country?

I am Norwegian, living on Mallorca for now- but the property prices....🥶. Not member of the EU, but the Schengen area.

How will prices collapse if people are returning? Surely it will help prices, and the Spanish economy can’t afford people not to buy, just a case of boom and slump. They will go up again when everything is settled.

If it wasn’t for the clowns running the EU that don’t believe in democracy we wouldn’t have had to be brave and make the leap. Reckon the other countries should learn from us and call it a day

I guess Britain never had the opportunity to become a member of Schengen? Then things would have been different. The EEC.
