My car is due an I.T.V. on the 6 April '22 I am out of the country arriving back on the 10th April and have my car booked in for the 13th April.
Do you get a grace period for I.T.V. ?

Unlike the UK you can't legally drive your car to the ITV after it has expired.

True however if you are driving to a prearranged appointment the cops are unlikely to bother you.
In the worst case though it's a €200 fine halved if paid promptly.
Contrary to popular myth, and this goes also for an MOT in UK, an expired ITV will not invalidate your insurance.

Chances of getting stopped extremely slim

That doesn't make it anymore legal does it? The chances of getting stopped while drink driving are slim, is that OK too? The original poster can make his own decision about how to get his car to the ITV, it really doesn't matter to me or anyone else, we're all adults and make our own decisions. I was merely letting them know what the rules are so they are informed enough to make their own decision.

Ok “jobsworth”
My husband has arranged an appointment for an ITV after the date of expiry. If you have that with you if your stopped you should be ok. The chance of being stopped are slim

Unfortunately you will not be allowed to drive your car to the ITV station after the ITV has expired like you can in the UK. It is illegal un Spain and you will have to have it taken there by truck (I can't remember the name they call it here).
