Tarjeta Sanitaria and S1

Hello. I recently moved to Algorfa. The local pharmacy gave me a doctor's number (medico), but no one ever answers. I think I need to contact the doctor to get a 'tarjeta sanitaria' to begin the process of going to the pharmacy to get my regular prescription.
Also - how do I apply for the S1? I'm not actually sure that that is for, but is it to register for healthcare?
Right now I have a health insurance policy, which I needed to get to get my Residency last year. But I am over 65 and don't know what the rules are here for doctor's visits, healthcare - paying for things like prescriptions and so on.
