My husband and I are thinking of a long winter break 2022 and wondering where the best place to look for accommodation would be for a holiday let. One bedroom with Wi-Fi, washing machine, close to bars and close to the coast. Will there be discounted rates for a long term rental? Thank you.
Hello
If you are coming from the UK you will only be allowed 90days in a rolling 180days for your stay, post Brexit the UK is a 3rd nation country-- - this might alter any plans you have for a "long term rental"

Sorry I meant a holiday long term as in a month or two.

Most owners of holiday let accommodation will do a discount for a month or 2 months. Owners of properties they let long term won't. Your best bet is to look at the holiday let sites and contact the owner before booking at the published rates.

Yes I agree but what I am asking I suppose is, does anybody know of anybody with such rentals or the best site's to look at.

Holiday Lettings
Booking.com
Airbnb
There's a couple of Spanish ones which the forum member DaveBev advertises on, he/she may add them shortly.

I would avoid airBnB and Booking. Try the proper holiday sites such as Spain-holiday.com or the holiday let that allow you direct contact with the owners. Or sites like HomeAway.co.uk (now Vrbo.com) or even HolidayLettings but they will charge you additional booking fees. Message the owners and ask if they do a reduced rate for however long you are wanting (max 90 days). Those sites all only take Licensed legal holiday lets. If you decide to look on social media pages (such as facebook) then double check the property has a Holiday Let Tourist License before booking it for your own protection.
As you are looking at a winter break make sure the property also has heating!

Booking.com is perfectly reputable, does short medium and long term lets and allows client to owner dialogue before a booking is made. Simple. To describe it an not a proper holiday sight is ridiculous because there are thousands of holiday apartments listed on it and the site gets worldwide traffic.
I know this because I list on Booking.com, and have a very high client satisfaction rating.
I used to list on Homeaway (VRBO) and although I no longer do so, again it's a perfectly good place to source a booking.
It seems to me your opinions are very biased and not based in current reality.

I was informing them about which sites don't charge booking fees, suggesting how they could save a few pounds. Neither booking or airBnB were started originally as holiday let sites for complete properties but have diversified into it, whereas the others were set up from the start as holiday let sites, that's all the comment meant. Both my opinion and information are very much based on current reality, thank you.
