Do I need to buy buildings insurance for an apartment in Fontana?

Hi - I've just bought an apartment in Fontana 2 - can anyone tell me please if I need buildings insurance or just contents insurance? Thanks 🙂

Hi Ali,
If you live on a community, your president or administrator will be able to advise whether, or to what extent, insurance for communal areas and shared property boundaries are covered by the community. Also, please note that in Spain, unlike the UK, kitchens and bathrooms are covered under your Contents insurance, not your Buildings insurance, so you need to allow for that when deciding the sum to be insured.
