We have just recently purchased in Montemar, we had never even heard of it let alone visited it beforehand, we've only been over for 3 long weekends so far, the rub seems really quiet and pretty much central to everywhere, I absolutely love it, can honestly say the 3 times we have been over there's not been one single person that's walked past us without acknowledging us, everyone seems so friendly, I love the peacefulness of the area, I don't think you will have any regrets about purchasing there at all, good luck x

I would not recommend montimar cheap property but very compact ..go nearer the beach otherwise you may have problems when the time comes to sell.also very noisy and busy in summer months with all the entertainment from hotel

Hi We bought on Montemar in 2017 and find it absolutely lovely, evrything on your doorstep, quiet friendly and we have made many friends, most of them full time residents, we always feel very lucky that we found the area and the village is great always something going on,we were there for the three kings this year and it was a great atmosphere.

Hi Mark-any other handy tips/places for us or we should know about? Somebody I was recently talking too said they have things going on in the hotel at La Finca golf?

Interesting. What was the gist of the conversation? If it's of the entertainment kind ignore my question :)
