You need to apply for a visa, the whole procedure is explained here

Hi,

As Lynn has mentioned, you need to apply for a visa.

If you want to live in Spain permanently you will need to apply for a visa from the Spanish consulate while you are still living in the UK. There is a Spanish consulate in London or Manchester.

You will need to meet the income and healthcare requirements. You will need to prove that you have an income of around €27,000 per annum or a mixture of savings and income to that amount.

You will need full private healthcare paid for a full year.

You don't need to own property to gain residency.
