Does anyone know about travelling to and from Algorfa by train? Is there a train station for travel to Madrid, Valencia etc. or do people have to travel from Alicante? Thanks.

The nearest station to you is at Callosa de Segura, although parking is easier at the San Isidro station. That's just a local line, but there are frequent trains to Alicante, from where you could travel to Madrid, Valencia etc.

Jim,  would that help me?  Getting there from Alicante airport?  Then a taxi to Daya Vieja?

Thanks

M

It's an option, but I don't know if it would be any better than what I've answered to your previous question.

You need to take the bus to Alicante, train to San Isidro or Callosa, then a taxi - and a taxi from either of these would be more expensive than one from Almoradi. Plus, thinking about it, I don't recall seeing taxis at Callosa atation.

Oh, that was a different person asking about the Alicante Airport, but still helpful :-)
