Hi,

I am coming to Spain shortly and will be employed in Spain as a contractor.

I have an appointment for my NIE number when I get there and then I will be looking to register as self-employed with the social security service. I am seeking someone who speaks English and who knows the Spainish system and can file the relevant returns I will need to do to remain compliant. I am also seeking someone who can advise on what I can claim for and not so email/telephone support where I can bounce questions off and seek some guidance.  Does anyone have any recommendations ?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but if you're a UK passport holder I don't think you can come to Spain and do as you describe.

You can't simply arrive and register as self employed.

I know of no visa which permits you to come as a contractor but if you've found an employer willing and able to offer you a job then the procedure is for them to apply for a work visa on your behalf.

Thanks for the reply, sorry, I should have explained myself better.

I am Irish, hold an Irish passport and will be moving to Spain to work as a contractor for a company based in Spain.  They will pay me monthly, I need to then pay my taxes as self-employed and I am looking for someone who can manage that for me as well as ensure my books are accurate. I am also seeking someone who can advise what I can expense, for instance, a portion of my fibre internet, electricity etc. Companies such as Taxscout do offer this but I was coming to the forum to see if there was anyone on here that knew the Spanish system, can speak English and wanted to make a few quid each month to manage my tax/accounting affairs.
