Recommended IPTV for UK TV channels

Has anyone any recommendations for IPTV sites for a Smart TV to obtain UK TV channels and other world channels, films etc

In my experience using IPTV on a smart TV can be a hit and miss affair so you'd probably be better off with a dedicated separate box.

Would tend to agree, installing directly on to a TV is not ideal, I use an Android TV box, there are options such as a fire stick, more details can be found at the link below.
