Info needed about travel to UK.

Just found out that the UK are implementing a 14 day quarintine for everyone arriving from Spain.
Well we are due to be flyi to Aliante on Friday BUT we are driving back to the UK from France. So do we still have to quarintine for 14 days.
I am very confused with all these changes but realise what is going on. We were supposed to go in April then begining of July both cancelled. Now this Friday looks in doubt.
Any information would be appreciated.
