Hi can anyone tell me if you can park on site at alicante airport please instead of having your car off site. I would like to keep my car at the airport. Any recommendations please.

regards Mark

Yes, AENA parking. A short stay and a long stay car park. Not cheap but you must book on line first as, if you don't, it could work out 4 times as much. For example, a 10 day parking booking online first about 80 euro, if you don't book it would be over 200 euro so quite a difference.

You don't need to pay in advance but you will save a couple of euro if you do. Pay at the machine and then the auto number plate reader lets you out.

However, as discussed just recently under Alicante Airport Parking, the off site ones like Umbrella will be about half the price and they take you to the airport and collect you on return.

If you're talking about short term parking, I would strongly recommend you use an offsite parking firm like Victoria instead.

I used to use the AENA short term parking regularly, but it became more and more expensive while the actual site more and more resembled a building site. They have been working on it for ages but it never seems to move forward. I got sick and tired of driving down lanes which ended in concrete blocks and resembled a maze, then having to clamber over or around temporary fences and obstacles to get to the terminal. It's also quite a walk to Departures, and you have to find the automatic payment machine in the car park when you get back in the dark, another walk if you are not parked nearby. I use Victoria every time now.

Thank you. At the moment I park at Parc and go but I would like to leave my car at the airport terminal. I travel to Spain maybe 12 times a year. So you think I should stay with what I’m doing off site parking.

Ah, if you're talking about leaving you car long stay for when you visit then don't think about parking on the actual airport. It will cost you more per month than off site will cost in a year. The ones on the airport are simply for those leaving their cars while they fly off for a week or two somewhere.

I use this lady her name is Heiki

I contact her on WhatsApp +34 633 34 37 00

I put my car in the airport car park and ring or send a photo of my car number and parking bay number, she collects it and puts it back in the car park at the time and day you arrange

I go to Stansted for days or weeks and never any problems, much cheaper than alternatives, I just say something like oh that’s a lot and I find I can negotiate with her also but don’t tell her I said that
