Hi, I bought a e-scooter in uk ( West Midlands) it is still boxed roughly 1 mitre long and 1/2 mitre wide would like to bring it to Spain Alicante area, does anyone know who does that kind of thing ? Please advise.
You may be allowed to take it on the plane. Check with the company. The biggest problem is the capacity of the battery.

Bringing an e-scooter from the UK to Spain involves significant new regulations as of January 2026, requiring mandatory insurance, registration (DGT plate/QR), and adherence to strict rules (helmets, no pavement riding, max 25km/h), making air travel difficult due to lithium battery rules, so driving or shipping overland is often better, though expensive; always check local town hall rules, as they vary.
Bringing an e-scooter from the UK to Spain by plane is difficult due to strict lithium battery rules, but possible if it's a medical device or the battery is small (under 100Wh, or up to 160Wh with airline approval) and removed, carried in hand luggage, with the scooter in checked baggage; you must contact your airline well in advance to confirm their specific policies, as most recreational scooters exceed limits and might need to be shipped separately or rented.
My advice, don't bother, more problems than it's ever going to be worth any you could easily land up with a machine you can neither use legally nor sell.
Buy one in Spain if you really must.

If you ship the e-scooter and battery into Spain you might have to pay import tax, check with the shipper once you find one.
I would agree with Darro, best to buy one locally in Spain. Look at how much you could sell the scooter for in the UK plus the shipping costs versus the cost of a similar scooter in Spain.
