Architect and Building Costs

Hi all

We are planning do some reform work on our house in Alicante city. We will need an architect to apply for the minor license and project manage. Would know a rough cost of employing a architect would be please?

Also would anybody have an estimate on cost per square meter on a reform project. Some people are are saying €1000 per m2

We just trying to draft a budget and so would appreciate any advice on costs etc Thanks.

We had our place in the city fully reformed a year ago.This included rooms relocated, new bathrooms, walls and ceilings re plastered, all tiling etc. No architect was involved but the building contractor sorted out the permits. I would say we paid less than half the figures you quoted. Kitchen not included as I did that myself. It probably took 4 months but as we were not living there I imagine the guys were doing other jobs at the same time so didnt rush.

Thanks so much for this. Really helpful and ideally that is the way we would like to go, partly doing as much as we could ourselves and builders in for the bigger work. Would you recommend your builder contractor? Thanks agian.

Contact CM construcción y reformas. They will be able to help with advice and maybe with the work if not already booked up I know they are always busy
