Retiring to Alicante

My wife and I aged 67and 73, are looking to retire around Alicante,

We both play golf so would appreciate information about Font Del LLop Golf Resort, I.e is there a good social and playing group who play regularly, who hopefully we could ask about places to live, and all the legal requirements, and medical insurance.

We lived in Las Palmas, and the Costa Del Sol, in 1971, and have traveled and lived in quite a few places around the world,

I would suggest that regarding the bureaucracy involved you have a look at the Tips and Guides on this site as well as the Citizens Advice Bureau Spain website. Also, keep an eye on the N332 Facebook page for up to date information regarding rules and regulations in respect of this horrible virus. The N332 website deals with anything to do with driving in Spain and both sites are run in conjunction with officers of the Guardia Civil for English speaking people.

Sorry but I cannot help regarding golf items as I have never played and don't have any interest in it.

You could look on urb la marina about 25mns from alicante Airport. Its a lovely area and plenty of Brits play golf and have societies there. There is approx 300 properties for sale so plenty to pick from. If interested look up the local agencies on Google or Facebook.
