How to find out who owns a property?

I've seen an empty property and I'd like to find out who owns it.  The neighbours don't have any contact details for the owners.

Is there an equivalent site to the UK Land Registry where you can download the deeds for a property to find out the owners details?

Thanks

Find out the exact location and then have a look at the cadaster map to find out he unique "referencia catastral", a chain of some 20 alphanumeric digits. Then, proceed to the "registro de la propiedad" (land registry)  and obtain a "copia simple" for some 8,- euros, and that's it.

That is great, thank you so much, I will give that a try :-)
