Hello everyone,

I didnt know which city I should choose, if we still browse around before we move to Alicante province next year.

Here is my inquiry; I am Slovak, living in Canada. I have dual citizenship. I have applied for Slovak passport 3 months ago, but because of the name change (marriage/divorce), there's been tons of documents that had to be sent and waited for. Slovak bureaucracy doesn't have competitor (!), and that's why this may be a year long waiting. If not more..

I have learned that to enter, live and work in Spain, I need (if I don't have Slovak/EU passport yet) a national ID of Slovakia. I have never heard of that and nobody back in Slovakia can give me an answer. I have, however a document, that I received 3 months ago, that I am Slovak citizen. Would this one do it for me? If yes, I assume, it needs to be translated and confirmed by notary. Do I need to get it translated to Spanish and then taken to Notary? The paper says, it is only accepted in the original form. Being translated it's not original anymore.......Gosh, I am so steamed up with all these legal stuff ... and I am only at the beginning.. :(

Anybody there, who can guide me?

Thank you

Mia

Hello:

I have a friend from your country living in my town. I guess she could help you about your question. I will ask her and if she lets me I will send you her phone number.

Regards. Miguel
