IDEAS WHERE TO LIVE
Hello everyone;
I have received tons of advice and ideas from this forum's members and I wonder if I can get some guidance about this inquiry;
We are (my spouse, our labradoodle and I) preparing ourselves for the move to live in Spain. I am from Slovakia, my partner is Canadian. All legal stuff has been helped with through this site, plus we have scheduled appointment at Spanish embassy to finalize our concerns and questions to be answered.
We are performers to begin with and we are looking for a place close to social activities, culture. We're also considering B&B business / AirBnB.
Our desired area to live at is in Alicante province. But since we don't know much of the surroundings, we cannot put a finger on any. We spent a week in the province 2 months ago, but that won't do much in terms to specify the desired destination. We are not crazy about owning a huge house for the three of us, but a guest house on the property would be great. And because we have a dog, we'd like to have a big yard. We would like to have beaches within 15-20 km, shopping, social life and as far as possible from flooding. Not in a big city, but not in the exile either... :)
I am writing all these details so I can ask for an ideas of places, towns, areas you can name and we can google them. That would be appreciated.
