A problematic narcissistic control freak person in our neighbouring street has verbally threatened to kill my husband and I for walking down the street that is NOT marked private.  Many times he has verbally threatened to kill my husband and his balls and to also kill me. There is NO private sign post. Many other people pass his door and they are not threatened. Is it a criminal offence for a narcissistic control person to go around anywhere in Spain verbally threatening to kill people for walking down a street that is NOT marked private? He has a wife and two small children.

Walking down a street, (criminal), NO. Threatening behaviour, YES. V

Should I file a report with my local Spanish police?

Firstly: "trespass", IE: "pecado" in Spanish is different to UK trespass. But as you described ( regarding "threats"), consider a denucia, in case of continued threat problems. ( The only other way, is to avoid that confrontation or record it). V

Go to the police and report this person for threats to kill. Next time you walk there have your phone ready to film the abusive behaviour.

Nobody has the right to verbally abuse either of you.

Not laughing at the threat to you and your family but the "flash mob"

Serious threat. Yes, film it if you can.

Hi Steve, Sadly, I did not have my GSM on me.  I had just taken my garbage to my green container bin. From day one he has always been a problematic control freak, but I ignored it.  I will first get confirmed clarification from the authorities to see if it is an unmarked private street.  Still there is no reason to threaten to kill people.  If he continues and I have clarification confirmation from the authorities that the street he lives in is not private then I will go to the police station and make a statement.   Thank you for your help.

Darro, before I name the street I will first get clarification from my local city hall confirming if it is an unmarked private street or public street.  However, there is no reason for him to go around threatening to kill people. He is a narcissist and likes to control the street and keep everybody locked up.  He is very problematic.  I feel very sorry for his wife and two young children.  I suspect he beats up his wife because she is always covering herself up in layers of make-up and wearing very large dark glasses.
