Does anyone know the process to obtain Residency and a residency card for a baby born in Spain (Spanish birth certificate), to UK parents resident since 2018 (green card). I am  how to do it as Extranjeria only has a section for baby's born in Spain to non-EU parents. Has anyone gone through this process? Details on how will be much appreciated. Thanks

I did have a look but, like yourself, couldn't find an answer, so three possible options:

Ask a gestor.

You'll have to go and apply for TIEs for yourselves, so ask the question when you go to do that.

Leave it until next year and use EX-01.

Thanks Jim great reply. I must be learning and had come to the same conclusion myself, minus the gestor, although I'm tempted to use the EX-01 form anyway. I am going on Wednesday for the TIE for me, the Mrs. and my daughter, so I will ask. It does seem strange that they haven't got it worked out, as they seem to have done well with the TIE. Do you know if you can actually pay at the desk in Alicante? I seem to remember I did with the original application. Cheers

Good luck with the TIEs, and if your Spanish isn't too good, then use Google Translate or DeepL and write out your question so you can just present that and see what the response is.

There's nothing in the procedure for the EX-18 or EX-23 that says you can pay on the spot, and there isn't a payment desk at the police station, so you'd be better doing the 790-012s and nipping to the bank tomorrow.

Thanks Jim, so off to the bank it is. The only thing I have going for me is that I can speak Spanish, and these endless forms have got me at it. Take care.

This post that was quoted has been deleted.

Hi RayD and thanks. He does have a Spanish birth certificate but as neither him Mum or Dad are Spanish, he is not eligible for nationality until 18 year's old. He now has a Brit passport and so has to go the foreigners route, or at least that's as far as I can see. It will all be clarified one way or another this week.
