Hi

We are thinking of spending the time between xmas and new year in Alicante. We have my children in their 20s with us and they will want to go out clubbling/ partying. Is Alicante buzzing in the evenings? Would there be plenty to do on Saturday 28th December?

Which place would you recommend for a night out on that Saturday? Alicante or Benidorm?

Thank you.

Gen

Alicante is a cosmopolitan city with something for everyone. There are many great clubs, with some open until 8am especially at weekends. Just bear in mind very few people will communicate in English. Unlike the UK, Spain doesn't close down over the Christmas and New Year period. Spanish families meet on Christmas Eve for dinner and this means most hotels serve dinner early and operate on a skelton staff. However, the city will be buzzing otherwise.

I agree with John, Alicante is a beautiful city but I think your 20 year olds would thank you for choosing Benidorm.

I agree with both, they would probably prefer Benidorm
