QUOTE ....Sánchez explained that all retail activity is suspended apart from businesses selling foodstuffs, pharmacies, tobacconists, suppliers of IT equipment, newsstands, hairdressers and dry cleaners.

It looks like I and several of my friends actually succumbed to the Coronavirus over Christmas and New Year without knowing what it was!

I am 75 , generally fit, vegetarian, with no underlying condition. ; my husband didn't get it.

Symptoms....dry cough, feeling like death warmed up .....fever, cotton wool head and eventual deafness. My teeth felt "loose" and gums bleed.

Treatment...paracetomol, ibufropen, Vick , and later ; Antihistomine for the sinus .

This lasted 2  months for me and I am only just getting my strength back. I hope this will help.

I tend to agree. (in hind-site). After myself, friends here in Spain, & visitors from abroad, have stated (more or less) this has been the "longest cold" I´ve ever had. (similar symptoms)  It´s only my "feeling" this virus has only been recognized as such, much later. I may be wrong.

Thank you for setting this up, horendous situation.  I was coming over from UK on 21st as I have sold my house and needed to clear it out, not furniture just personal stuff and had several viewing lined up.  The sale will go ahead on 3rd April so Im guessing it still wont be appropriate to travel.  I have emailed the lawyer to explain so hopefully they will come up with something after they speak to the buyers lawyers. I hope you all stay safe

This might help to distinguish between the various symptoms

Unless you have been tested I would suggest you DID NOT have the Coronavirus. You probably had one of the INFLUENZA viruses. The Coronavirus was not in Spain at that time as far as I am aware.

Yes, if asked "for why"...... have a legal reason.

For eg: to quote on another post.

A guy (this morning) riding out on his push-bike/crash helmet & lycra received a fine from the local policia. He said he was "out for some bread".He when asked from where,  & explained from Villena (14k). He received his multa & went.
