Hi We travelled to our holiday home in Torrevieja for a week 13th - 20th July had to have proof of both vaccines which were sent from NHS, plus passenger allocator form both ways, a covid test the day before returning to Scotland at La Siesta clinic 50euros each and a CPR test on second day of return home £87.00. Hope this helps someone.
I travelled to the UK on 2nd August & returned to Alicante on the 9th.
On the 8th, I had the required fit-to-fly Antigen test which cost €40 at IMED in Gandia. Booking was easily done online, with lots of appointments available & the results had been emailed to me before I reached home (it's a 30 minute drive): https://www.imedhospitales.com/pruebas/
As I'd only booked my flight on 30th July, it was too late to have the 2-day PCR test posted to my son's (as a minimum of 4 working days are required) so I booked at the 'walk-in' centre on East Midlands Airport. With the discount offered by my airline, the £82 test was reduced to £66 & the results were emailed the following day. Note: the test centre is a long walk from Arrivals so it's best to hop on a park 'n' ride bus heading to long stay car park 1.
At Alicante Airport Ryanair staff quickly checked that I had the required documentation on my phone (negative Antigen test, EU double vaccination certificate & UK Passenger Locator Form) at the gate. It's possible to upload these docs to be connected to your boarding pass.
East Midlands Passort Control were using the electronic gates & randomly stopping passengers to check their docs, but I wasn't pulled to one side.
At Alicante Airport when I returned, Passport Control were only interested in checking passports (& I showed my TIE too to avoid my passport being stamped), but everyone's ES Passenger Locator form QI code was scanned before entry to the baggage collection belts.

We returned from EL CAMPELLO last week (August 4th) and had our Antigen tests done at Policlínca Omega, Avenida de la Estación, 03560, Campello. Telephone +34 966 283 899 there is a lady called Rusty who speaks English, email [email protected]. It's just round the corner from the tram station. We pre-booked and the cost was 35 Euros. Not available at weekends. Take your passports with you. Test results back within the hour. We booked the Day 2 return to UK test with Randox.com Cost £43 (put FLYRYANAIR in the voucher option to get the test £5 cheaper, even if you are not flying with RA). You need to pre-book the Day 2 so you can put the reference number in the passenger locator form for for your return to the UK.

I didn't take a test for my return to Spain yesterday (9th August), nor was I asked to show evidence of doing-so. I have a copy of my EU double vaccination certificate, but wasn't asked to show a copy of this either, just the QR code for the Spanish Passenger Locator Form.
Unlike the UK form on which confirmation of the 2-day test appointment needs to be entered, no details regarding tests were necessary on the Spanish form.
Ryanair staff checked my docs at the gate in Alicante when departing, but didn't at the gate in the UK when I was returning.
I hope this helps!

Hi Jayne,
We are coming (hopefully) to Spain from Scotland on the 16th August and do NOT require any tests before travel, only the Spanish locator form with the QR form, plus our proof of double vaccination.
It’s on the return to the UK that the proverbial hits the fan.
Predeparture antigen test certificate for flight operators to check before boarding, plus proof of prebooked PCR for day 2 in GB,think the latter is for border control at UK.
Good luck !
