Thanks Jim explains the SUMA to me a lot - really useful as in the process of importing my car from France (which French lawyer told me I couldn't do), so would like to be able to set up a direct debit for that bill every year.. what a comprehensive guide you've created! Bravo!
Hello
If we stay for 3 months do you know what gap we should leave prior to staying a further 3 months?
Many thanks

The law (Real Decreto 557/2011) is similar to the Schengen set up. It's ninety days in any half year. That ninety days doesn't have to be continuous, but can be made up of several shorter stays.
The EU have a calculator you can use if you wish:

Sorry I can not see anything like that. Am I right clicking or left? Have tried both.
Thanks. Den

Den, just left-click on it.
If you've got your computer set so it doesn't open hyperlinks, then copy and paste the link into the address bar of your browser.

I have managed to save on my favourites bar.
Thank you for you patience.
The guides are great Jim. I didn't realise I had to pay non resident tax. Iam sure my friend didn't who had a property for about 10 years.
