I want to post about a new free service to support people in the community being offered by HELP Vega Baja registered charity. Can someone please direct me to a general forum rather than just the San Miguel forum that I seem to be directed to when I log in! Apologies, not very tech and I am obviously missing something! Thank you.

Thank you - the only thing is that it takes me back to preferred area. I would really like to include something to reach the whole of the forum but I guess I have to do this on individual forum pages? It is a service that the charity is introducing that will be published in local press shortly and we need to publicise it as it is a helpline - no problem, I can do individually if necessary.

Anything you post, like this thread, is visible to everyone on the forum irrespective of what area they 'belong' to.
Whether everyone sees it is another matter. For example, if I only opened the forum at:
https://www.costablancaforum.com/area/almorad%C3%AD-spain-11/
then I'd only see posts from people in the Almoradi area.
Instead, I open the forum at top level:
https://www.costablancaforum.com/
That way I see everything, and I'm sure that a majority of members do this.
It sounds like you've got your bookmark/favourite set to open only to San Miguel, so change it to the top level forum.
Then post a new topic in the relevant section of the forum.
